WHY FANCYPANTS?
Fancypants was created by Bryan Lee Weaver, Jake Mogelson and Michael Shemtov who wanted to make fine dining a little less serious and a lot more fun. The goal is for everyone to eat great food and have a fucking blast.
So how exactly does it work? Is it a prix fixe menu? Tasting menu? Can we order a la carte?
Fancypants offers a prix fixe multi course menu that allows each guest to choose their own adventure from our core menu. The price range is $70-90 per person for food, with bonus opportunities to ball out to your heart's content.
Do I need a reservation/do you accept walk-ins?
Yeah, probably smart to make one but it’s not required. We typically seat walk-ins at the bar, and since our space is small'ish, we only have 8 seats there. Reservations can be made by visiting our reservations page here. Also on Sunday’s we make a much larger portion of our dining room available for walk-ins in order to feed our friends and family.
When are reservations available to book online?
8 weeks in advance.
Why do you need my credit card info to make a reservation?
Sadly, some people make reservations and don't honor them. As a small yet ambitious business, it's important to us that seats aren't held for people who don't show up, so the card, and the threat of a $25 per person charge for no-shows or cancellations inside of 48 hours, are meant as deterrents to making a reservation you're not sure you'll keep.
Do you have a menu available to view online?
Where's the fun in that? But, you can expect to see global flavors, plenty of pastas and a focus on wood fired seasonal produce.
Can you accommodate allergies/dietary restrictions?
If you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or allergic to nuts, we got you. If you have a more unique allergy, we should still have no problem accommodating you as long as we have plenty of advanced notice. Please email us at fancypants@butcherandbee.com or send us a message via your RESY reservation to communicate your parties allergy information.
Do you have parking?
Yup. There is a shared lot located on the property which should have plenty of spaces available.
Do you host private events?
Not really, but special occasions call for special occasions ;) We also have a sister restaurant on the east side that can host groups of 10 to 100 called Butcher & Bee. You can get the conversation started by emailing us directly or completing the following form and someone will contact you within 48 hours.
Can I bring my own bottle of wine?
Absolutely. Just be prepared to pay a $40 corkage fee per standard bottle of wine and $60 for a magnum.
How can I speak to someone at the restaurant?
Feel free to call during normal business hours or email fancypants@butcherandbee.com
Is there a dress code?
No dress code, but please wear pants.
